We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Marketing Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that enhance our brand presence and drive engagement. This role requires a creative thinker with a strong understanding of digital marketing trends and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
Full time - 35 hours per week (Monday - Friday)
Duties
Lead in the creation and execution of comprehensive marketing plans that align with the BAFE Group's objectives, enhancing brand awareness and engagement within the fire safety sector. The BAFE Group currently has the following trading subsidiaries: BAFE Ltd (https://www.bafe.org.uk/) and BAFE FireQual Ltd (www.firequal.com)
As part of marketing planning there is a need to ensure a clear focus upon registered organisation acquisition and engagement/retention activities - based around clearly defined registered organisation benefits.
Produce high-quality, technically accurate marketing materials, including brochures, case studies, and digital content, to effectively communicate BAFE's value proposition.
Management of public relations activity and a press office - develop positive working relationships with editors/journalists and collaborate on the production of articles and press releases that clearly position BAFE as the provider of 'the leading fire safety register'. This role will also encompass press activities for other companies within the Group.
As part of the annual marketing plan there is a requirement to develop well targeted advertising campaigns (print and digital) for relevant publications/channels to the agreed budget.
Manage all sponsorship opportunities for third party events and exhibitions with a focus on measurable return on investment criteria.
Oversee BAFE's online presence, managing website content, social media channels, video content, newsletters and email campaigns to ensure consistent and impactful messaging.
Conduct market analysis and research to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for growth - providing insights to inform strategic decisions.
This role will need to consider how best to measure and improve registered organisation engagement levels and build targeted engagement activities into the marketing plan.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with industry partners, certification bodies, registered organisations and the internal teams to promote BAFE's schemes and initiatives.
Event Coordination: Plan and execute industry events, webinars, and workshops to educate and engage stakeholders on fire safety standards and best practices.
To manage the production of Registered Organisation onboarding and engagement resources
To manage the marketing budget and support the Technical Schemes and Assurance Manager in creating the budget.
To maintain and develop BAFE corporate brand guidelines and ensure the consistent use of these guidelines with both internal and external stakeholders.
To ensure that all marketing activities are aligned to the delivery of agreed KPI's, and that return-on-investment data is produced for each campaign activity.
Qualifications
Essential
CIM degree in Marketing or equivalent, or over 3 years marketing experience in a similar role
Proven experience in a technically based marketing role.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical information into clear and engaging content.
Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including content management systems, social media, and analytics software.
Good analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Skills
Experience in the fire safety industry or a related technical field.
Graphic design skills and proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
