Job Overview


We are seeking a proactive and creative Marketing Executive to join our dynamic team, based at the Vale Resort, and supporting three iconic Welsh brands: Vale Resort, Hensol Castle, and Hensol Castle Distillery. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a fast-paced, multi-faceted, family-owned business that spans luxury hospitality, events, wellness, sport, premium spirits, and visitor experiences. You'll be involved in the full marketing mix, with a particular focus on supporting our digital marketing strategy, which is currently undergoing a significant period of development and investment.

Reporting to the Senior Marketing team, you'll work across a wide range of platforms and channels, helping to implement and execute campaigns that drive brand awareness, engagement and conversion.

You' will be hands-on with our websites, social media platforms, ticketing systems, and CRM tools -- ensuring all customer touchpoints are optimised, on-brand, and aligned with our wider digital strategy.

You will assist with content creation, website updates, SEO improvements, paid advertising (PPC), data-driven email marketing and campaign reporting.

You will also liaise with a range of internal stakeholders and external suppliers, so a professional, confident, and outgoing approach is key.

Responsibilities



Assist with the planning and execution of marketing campaigns across web, social, email and print

Create engaging, brand-aligned content for multiple platforms including social media, websites and blogs

Support day-to-day social media activity including scheduling, community management and performance reporting

Update and maintain content across our websites (Umbraco and WordPress)

Work with our CRM and email platforms (Dotdigital) to support targeted marketing campaigns

Assist with SEO optimisation and PPC campaigns to drive traffic and conversion

Use our ticketing, event and gift voucher platforms to manage promotions and campaigns

Support event promotion, influencer collaborations, and content creation projects such as photography and videography

Monitor campaign performance and analytics, contributing to ongoing improvements

Liaise with external agencies and partners to ensure brand consistency and project alignment

Provide support as required for events and other off-site marketing activities as required.

To regularly review 3rd party websites to ensure up to date brand information, news and offers are updated and current

Provide general off-line marketing assistance as and when required.

Qualifications



A passionate marketer with proven experience in a marketing role (essential)

A team player who is professional, outgoing and confident communicating with colleagues, agencies and partners

Someone who is digitally savvy and excited about the future of marketing and technology

Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge or experience in hospitality, leisure and FMCG marketing is desirable

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Eagerness to learn, grow and take initiative

Desirable Technical Skills:



Experience with website CMS platforms, particularly Umbraco and WordPress

Familiarity with Dotdigital or similar CRM/email marketing platforms

Understanding of SEO and Google Ads/PPC

Experience using social media management and reporting tools

Great at office 365 and other marketing content platforms such as Canva and Buffer

Good attention to detail with regards to design, copywriting and reporting

Good use of the English language
