The Marketing Executive plays a crucial role in supporting the company's marketing efforts. The role's key focus is on copywriting and content creation, organic social media and the ownership of internal communications. It is a varied role with the chance to learn skills across a variety of marketing channels.
Main duties
Take ownership of the company's social media channels and the organic social media content within them as well as providing input on the paid social media channels.
Update and maintain the content on the company's website in line with the strategic goals and SEO activity, including writing copy and blogs, creating articles, case studies, e-books and whitepapers.
Create, organise, and manage assets, including videos and images, ensuring they are easily accessible and up-to-date.
Take ownership of internal communication channels such as our newsletter and recognition boards
Play a key role in business advocacy including Trustpilot and Google review management and new advocacy initiatives.
Support the Marketing Manager and wider marketing team with activities including internal and external events, networking opportunities and digital marketing activities.
Regularly review market trends and conduct industry analysis, identifying new opportunities for growth and competitive advantage.
Additional role duties
Get involved in the development and execution of marketing campaigns and initiatives, assisting with tasks such as campaign setup, tracking, and reporting.
Provide administrative support to the marketing team as needed, such as coordinating meetings, maintaining project schedules, and managing marketing inventory.
Contribute strategically to team meetings and brainstorming sessions, offering creative ideas and insights to enhance marketing efforts.
Support in the production and editing of marketing videos and other multimedia content.
Attend networking events as a company representative.
Who we're looking for
At least 2 years' experience in a marketing role, with a strong understanding of marketing principles and platforms
Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience in copywriting and SEO practices
Proficient in LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram.
Experience in digital marketing channels including email and paid social media is advantageous but not required.
Previous experience of event attendance and management is advantageous but required.
Strong ability to work both alone and as part of a team.
A confident person who is happy to get stuck in and support on a number of projects.
