Job Summary


As Marketing Executive you will play a pivotal and exciting role in the expansion of the marketing department at Porvair Sciences and the Life Sciences group of businesses. This role will provide daily support to the Marketing Manager to elevate global marketing activities across multiple business units. A highly dynamic role with the opportunity to gain wide marketing and commercial experience but also to take ownership of key marketing activities to further develop your skills. A successful candidate will be driven and meticulous when it comes to delivering marketing activities but also inquisitive and daring to spark innovation across company operations and culture.

Duties



Support branding activities across Porvair Sciences & Life Sciences group business units

Work with Life Sciences business unit representatives to create and maintain cohesive branding and messaging Support business unit and cross-departmental marketing needs, as well as commercial and company requirements in new product launches and promotions Proactively contribute to the development of the content marketing strategy with Marketing Manager

Manage and Execute Marketing Communications Programme

Own and fulfil planned PR and promotional campaigns with key deliverables Manage communication between media partners and creative agencies Collaborate with cross functional teams to create engaging content for marketing campaigns, promotional materials and social media Devise and implement a social media programme to create awareness and generate interest in the social marketplace Actively work with technical teams to write content for Marketing assets and materials to gain awareness and drive commercial growth Work to optimise website SEO strategy and implement updates on WordPress Together with the Marketing Manager, work to align marketing strategy and deliver internal communications of planned activities

Measurement and Optimisation of Web and Promotional Activities

Analyse website and campaign performance through data analytics and reporting Track and analyse PR performance across the mediums Monitor and prepare monthly reports to the internal teams Provide insight and recommendations to Marketing Manager to improve web and promotional activities Challenge and provide insight to optimise and future-proof marketing processes Assist in organising exhibitions and conferences

Requirements



Excellent organisational, copy writing, communication and time management skills Proven success in a fast-paced environment, working with a team and individually An eye for design and a creativity Experience with design tools and Marketing material creation.

Education

Degree level qualification in sciences, marketing, business or communication

Experience:



Adobe Creative Suite or Canva Google Analytics and WordPress (or experience with websites) Excellent copywriting, editing and proofreading skills Experience in creating and delivering successful marketing campaigns Proficiency in social media management particularly LinkedIn
