About the Role:
We're looking for a proactive and organised Marketing Intern to support our busy events calendar, with a particular focus on careers fairs and law fairs. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in events, social media, and employer branding to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced marketing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in organising and delivering presence at law and careers fairs and student events across the UK, including packing up, posting, setting up displays, distributing promotional materials and briefing members of the team on logistical information
Travel several times a week across locations in the UK to represent the organisation at events and fairs, engaging confidently with students, answering queries about their legal qualification pathways, capturing their data and gathering their feedback
Help produce and repurpose social media content (photos, videos, polls, student Q&As, reels/stories) before, during and after events to help promote BARBRI's presence and boost student engagement
Support with the creation of event materials, such as flyers, slide decks, banners and social content; this involves liaising with internal and external stakeholders, mainly with an outside design agency
Help track and manage inventory levels of merchandise, potentially including tasks such as organising, distributing and ensuring accurate stock counts
Attend and support online and in-person events, helping with tech, lead capture and brand representation
Adapt PowerPoint presentations to branding guidelines
Adapt digital and print poster templates within Canva
Help maintain accurate records of event performance and attendee feedback
Participate in marketing brainstorming sessions to come up with ideas, suggestions or improvements
Providing general administrative support to the marketing team, including data entry, report preparation and communication
About You:
A university-level student or recent graduate (preferably in law, marketing or a related field)
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a professional manner
Genuine interest in legal education and pursuing a career route into law
Confident and enthusiastic about connecting with student audiences.
Highly organised, detail-focused, and comfortable working to deadlines
Creative, with a problem-solving mindset
A fast learner who is resourceful and can confidently take initiative
Comfortable with using and appearing on social media platforms
Willingness to travel to events across the UK (travel expenses covered)
Nice to Have:
Experience using Canva
Experience with marketing platforms (like HubSpot or Marketo)
Experience using EventBrite
