The Role

We are seeking a motivated and creative Marketing Intern to join our team and help us amplify our voice within the vibrant London startup and SME ecosystem. This is a fantastic opportunity for an aspiring marketer to gain hands-on experience in a B2B professional services environment, translating complex financial and strategic concepts into compelling marketing content.

You will work closely with our senior leadership to support key marketing initiatives, helping us connect with the founders and business leaders who need our expertise the most.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation:

Assist in drafting, editing, and publishing engaging content such as blog posts, LinkedIn articles, and case studies. Topics will focus on our core services, including: fundraising for startups, IPO readiness, implementing ESG strategies, business case modelling, and the benefits of finance automation (RPA/GenAI).

Social Media Management:

Manage and grow our primary B2B social media channel, LinkedIn. Schedule insightful posts, create simple graphics (e.g., on Canva), engage with our community, and identify key industry influencers and potential clients.

Market Research:

Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and potential client segments (e.g., FinTech startups, SaaS companies, sustainable brands). Identify relevant industry events, podcasts, and publications for potential collaboration.

Email Marketing:

Support the creation and distribution of our email newsletter, sharing valuable insights and company updates with our client and prospect lists.

Website & SEO Support:

Assist with basic on-page SEO for our website content and blogs to improve organic visibility. Help track and report on marketing campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics and LinkedIn Analytics.

General Support:

Provide administrative and logistical support to the marketing and leadership team as required.

What We're Looking For (Candidate Profile)

Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Economics, or a related field. A genuine and demonstrable interest in the startup, venture capital, and SME world. You don't need to be a finance expert, but you are curious about what makes businesses grow. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for making complex topics clear and engaging. Familiarity with key social media platforms, especially LinkedIn for professional networking. A proactive, creative, and highly organised individual with strong attention to detail. A self-starter who is comfortable working independently and as part of a small, dynamic team.

Bonus Points:

Familiarity with tools like Canva, Mailchimp, or a basic understanding of SEO principles is a plus.
