The new role of Marketing Manager will be instrumental in leading our strategic marketing plans to meet our growth plans.
Reporting to the Chief Growth Officer, the new role of Marketing Manager for Oceanscan Group will develop and lead strategic marketing communications initiatives to support business growth priorities across our companies. You will also act as a key link between Oceanscan and the Venterra Group marketing team to align Oceanscan activities with broader group activities to support commercial growth. Supporting strategic bids, leveraging market intelligence for targeted campaigns, you will be key in supporting business development. The marketing department is also responsible for creating and developing a strong, professional identity thus managing the group's media communication, marketing, advertising and design projects within the Venterra Group brand guidelines.
In order to succeed, you will be an energetic marketing professional with solid experience in business marketing. Your track record of delivering results will be clearly visible. You will be highly organised and happy to work in a fast moving environment. Of course, strong communication skills, as well as negotiation, persuasion and interpersonal people management skills, are also essential. You should have a marketing qualification and ideally have experience of marketing in the oil and gas sector. Required experience and qualifications
HND / Degree in relevant subject area
Minimum three years marketing experience with a detailed portfolio of design/printed work
Membership of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) is preferred
Extensive experience using various social media platforms; Linked In, Twitter, Facebook, and Google
Use of Adobe Creative Cloud applications; InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat Pro, Fireworks, After Effects, Dreamweaver and Flash
Video / presentation editing experience
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Desktop Publishing Suite; Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Experience with pre-print production
HTML and Javascript experience
