As a multi-award-winning managed service provider, base is seeking a forward-thinking Marketing Manager who is reshaping the future of marketing by harnessing the power of AI to drive business growth and deliver exceptional lead and customer experiences. This person will leverage AI to enhance marketing efforts and deliver innovative multi-channel marketing activity to support the overall objective of driving quality lead generation to fill the sales pipeline and raise brand awareness. This role involves using AI tools for tasks like data analysis, campaign optimisation, content creation and personalisation, ultimately driving business growth and improving lead and customer engagement. This role helps to bridge the gap between marketing expertise and AI capabilities, leading to more efficient, data-driven and personalised marketing strategies.

This role sits within the commercial function and will report to the Head of Partnerships & Marketing. This person will lead a team of two people: a Design and Brand Manager and Marketing Executive. It is a hybrid role where the?successful candidate will work in the office 3 days a week.

Role Responsibilities:



Developing and implementing AI-powered marketing strategies aligned with overall business objectives, including the tracking and analysis of the performance of AI-powered marketing campaigns and initiatives. Utilising AI to analyse vast datasets, identify trends and gain customer insights to inform marketing decisions. Lead funnel ownership to include predictive lead scoring and intelligent segmentation, with conversion rate optimisation. Leveraging AI to optimise campaign performance, personalise content and target specific audience segments. Using AI to generate various forms of content, including text, images, and videos for different marketing channels. Implementing AI-driven personalisation strategies to deliver tailored lead and customer experiences. Keeping abreast of the latest AI advancements and their potential applications in marketing. Liaise with the wider sales and marketing team to develop bespoke assets and collateral to be used during the business development process. Collaborate with base partners in the partner programme to work on joint content plans and projects. Event planning for all key industry events, including IBC and NAB, including the delivery of exhibition stand presence. Attendance at key industry events - around 5-10 events per year (UK, EMEA, US) Manage the relationship with all base industry memberships, including events, content opportunities and promotional activity. Line management of 2 marketing team members.

Skills and Attributes



5+ years marketing in a B2B role with proven ROI, which has generated high-quality leads to fill the sales pipeline using innovative approaches to leverage AI. A results-driven, innovative, tech-savvy individual with a strong understanding of AI.+ Digital Marketing techniques. This includes experience in organic in-house SEO techniques using AI, delivery of Email Campaigns - including AB testing via Mailchimp or CRMs, including Salesforce and/or Hubspot, and other digital activities. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and draw meaningful conclusions by producing value-added analysis and retargeting. Effectively communicating insights and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Proficiency in AI tools. Have a familiarity with various AI platforms and software used in marketing. Note: It is expected that AI experience is likely to have been gained in the last 18 months. A deep understanding of how to generate leads that deliver against base's growth strategies against these three pillars: 1) Outbound Growth, 2) Partner Led Growth 3) Upsell Growth (Account Based Marketing). Strong copywriting skills, inclusive of thought pieces, technical information, and press releases. Note: Whilst AI tools are expected to be used, the ability to review content with a critical eye and spot what AI has missed is a must. Ability to plan, manage multiple projects concurrently, and execute campaigns with efficiency. Very close effective collaboration with the sales team, including reviewing what is working at every stage of the sales cycle and how this translates to strategy, tactics and targeting. Extensive experience managing lead data in CRMs, including Salesforce and/or Hubspot. Operate with the base CORE values. Exceptional attention to detail. A self-starter and driven individual who is passionate and proactive in their approach to work. Willing to travel when required, sometimes within Europe or potentially further occasionally. Experience working in a fast-paced and high-growth business.
