hands-on, creative and data-driven Marketing Manager
with proven digital advertising and ticketing expertise to help lead Kynren's next chapter -- including the 2026 launch of Kynren - The Storied Lands, a new daytime theme park of live-action shows and immersive experiences alongside the award-winning Kynren - An Epic Tale of England night show.

Job Purpose:
To manage the day-to-day delivery of marketing activity across both Kynren - An Epic Tale of England and Kynren - The Storied Lands, ensuring campaigns are delivered on time, within budget, and with measurable results.
The Marketing Manager will
shape and optimise the full visitor communications journey
-- from awareness and online enquiry through to conversion, booking, pre-visit and post-visit engagement -- ensuring all touchpoints are clear, inspiring and aligned with Kynren's brand and visitor experience standards.
They will also lead, motivate and support a talented marketing team, fostering a positive, creative and results-focused culture that reflects Kynren's values and ambition.

Key Outputs and Accountabilities:
Campaign Delivery
Co-ordinate the annual marketing plan across all channels (broadcast, PR, promotions, outdoor, social, digital, CRM).
Manage campaign integration to ensure consistent messaging across platforms.
Track and report performance, making recommendations for optimisation.
Liaise with external agencies (media, PR, creative) to deliver objectives and ROI.
Visitor Journey Management
Map and oversee the communications for the full visitor journey:
Work closely with Box Office, Operations, and Visitor Services to align touchpoints.
Ensure all visitor communications are clear, on-brand, and enhance the visitor experience.
Team Leadership
Line-manage the Marketing Co-ordinator, Groups & Visitor Service Administrator, Marketing/Production Liaison and Seasonal Box Office Assistants ensuring clear priorities and effective workflow.
Foster a positive, can-do culture that reflects Kynren's values.
Provide coaching, mentoring and development opportunities.
Ensure adequate cover for weekends, evenings and peak periods.
Digital & Online Profile
Own and optimise Kynren's entire digital footprint -- ensuring our website, Google Business, TripAdvisor and destination listings are always accurate, engaging and on-brand.
Lead on digital performance and paid media, including PPC, display, social, YouTube and retargeting campaigns, to drive ticket sales and ROI.
Be an expert user of the ticketing system -- ensuring products, pricing, tracking and analytics are fully optimised and that the system is used to its full marketing and commercial potential.
Use insight and data from all digital platforms to improve user experience, conversion rates and campaign performance across every stage of the customer journey.
Content & Social Media
Lead and oversee all content and social activity across digital, email, web and PR channels, ensuring it aligns with campaign strategy, brand guidelines and quality standards.
Drive the storytelling and creative approach across all channels, making sure every piece of content -- from social posts to ads -- captures the spirit of Kynren, inspires visitors and is on-brand.
Ensure correct approval on all posts and communications prepared by the Marketing Co-ordinator before publication, ensuring tone, visuals and messaging are fully on-brand and signed off at the required levels.
Manage content capture and approvals in collaboration with the Marketing/Production Liaison, ensuring all imagery and video assets meet campaign needs.
Ensure appropriate out-of-hours monitoring and response during live periods and alert SLT of any crisis or sensitive communication issues.
Group Sales, Education & Trade Support
Work closely with the Travel Trade & Box Office team to ensure smooth group bookings and ticketing operations.
Manage the groups, education, travel trade sales and advertising campaigns, exhibitions and outreach activities.
Budget & Reporting
Manage marketing budgets and ensure campaigns deliver within agreed parameters.
Monitor KPIs and provide regular reports to the Marketing Director.
Other Duties
Undertake any other reasonable tasks that support the delivery of visitor numbers and marketing objectives, working collaboratively across teams to achieve shared goals.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Growth in ticket sales and revenue (against annual targets).
ROI from digital campaigns (CTR, conversions, CPL).
Email and customer engagement performance (open/click rates, repeat bookings, retention).
Strong track record in leading and optimising multi-channel digital campaigns - across PPC, social, display, YouTube and retargeting - using data and analytics to improve reach, engagement and conversion.
Confident in CRM and digital marketing tools, with working knowledge of SEO, Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager and tracking platforms (e.g. Google Analytics, Tag Manager).
Skilled in content planning, creative oversight and campaign integration across multiple channels.
Strong analytical mindset - comfortable interpreting data to drive performance and ROI.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
A collaborative, positive and proactive team player, with keen attention to detail and a hands-on approach to delivering results.
Desirable
Experience with ticketing systems
Well connected and knowledgeable in the visitor attraction industry
