Job Overview


C&O is seeking a proactive and creative Marketing Manager to deliver the company's marketing presence across all digital and traditional platforms. Working closely with the Communications & Systems Manager, the successful candidate will maintain and develop the company brand image and marketing strategy, while also supporting all six depots in promoting products, services, and events. This role will be key in expanding our online reach, generating sales and service leads, and increasing awareness of our full product range which includes Massey Ferguson tractors and machinery, SANY construction equipment, Isuzu pickup trucks and Ifor Williams trailers.

Key Responsibilities



Brand & Marketing Strategy

Implement and follow C&O brand management guidelines under direction of the Communications & Systems Manager. Plan, develop and execute marketing strategies across all channels. Create and maintain a structured annual marketing calendar including product campaigns, seasonal promotions, events and open days.
Content Creation & Social Media Management

Manage all social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube etc.). Grow audience reach, engagement, and brand awareness through proactive content and outreach. Create engaging and high-quality content including photos, videos, graphics and written posts for our social media platforms, digital newsletter, print media and website. Monitor industry trends and adapt content strategies to maximise visibility and lead generation. Respond to online enquiries, direct messages and engage with customers and suppliers online.
Product & Service Promotion

Promote and advertise the company's full product line including Massey Ferguson, SANY, Isuzu and Ifor Williams. Support each of the six depots in marketing services across sales, service and parts. Develop advertising materials including brochures, posters, email campaigns and point-of-sale content. Assist in organising and staffing open days, trade events and shows.
Performance & Reporting

Produce monthly marketing reports to track growth, engagement and campaign performance. Measure conversions such as sales enquiries, service bookings and parts leads attributed to marketing. Review data to refine marketing strategies and increase ROI.

Skills & Requirements:



Experience in marketing, digital content creation or a similar role. Strong understanding of social media growth and audience engagement. Creative mindset with ability to produce visual and written content. Confident using professional design tools (e.g.Adobe Suite, Affinity) and basic video editing. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and work to deadlines. Knowledge or interest in agricultural/construction machinery is an advantage. Full UK driving licence preferred (travel to depots/events required).

Success in This Role Will Be Measured By:



Growth in social media followers, engagement and reach. Number and quality of sales, service and parts leads generated from marketing activity. Adherence to and delivery of the marketing calendar. Successful promotion and increased turnout/interest in events and open days. Consistency and quality of brand representation across all platforms.
