The Role
We are seeking an ambitious and creative
Marketing Manager
to join our team. This is a pivotal role with full responsibility for the end-to-end marketing cycle for all our events-across digital, print, and social channels. You'll have the autonomy to shape our marketing strategy, drive brand growth, and ensure our events reach and engage the right audiences.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies for all events, from initial planning through to post-event analysis.
Lead on copywriting and content creation for websites, social media, email campaigns, and marketing collateral.
Maintain and update event websites using WordPress and Fasthost CMS.
Manage all social media accounts, including content scheduling, community engagement, and analytics.
Design marketing materials using Canva and other tools.
Develop and implement targeted email marketing campaigns.
Liaise directly with conference speakers, exhibitors, visitors, and media partners to maximise event promotion.
Conduct market research to inform strategic decisions on partnerships, visitor acquisition, and exhibitor outreach.
Analyse campaign performance using analytics tools, reporting on KPIs and suggesting improvements.
Oversee production and distribution of all marketing collateral (both digital and hard copy).
Provide on-site event marketing support and be available for international travel as required.
Person Specification
Minimum 2 years of marketing experience (event marketing experience strongly preferred).
Proven track record in managing the full marketing cycle for events or similar projects.
Copywriting and content creation skills.
Strong creative ability with experience designing marketing materials (Canva proficiency required).
Experience with email marketing platforms, social media management tools, and WordPress.
Highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented.
Ability to manage multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Team player with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
Willingness and ability to travel internationally for events.
Valid passport required.
