Job Description

About Crazy Bull Hair Products

Crazy Bull is a fast-growing hair and personal care brand with global reach, known for our high-performing styling products and bold, creative brand identity. Based in Leeds, West Yorkshire, we design, develop, and distribute our range to professional salons, barbershops, and consumers worldwide. As we continue to expand our presence across e-commerce, digital platforms, and global marketplaces, we're now looking for a talented and driven

Marketing Manager

to lead our marketing strategy and elevate the brand's visibility and growth internationally.

Mission

The Marketing Manager leads the strategic and creative engine of Crazy Bull: driving brand awareness, engagement, and revenue across all digital and physical channels.

Your mission: connect creativity with commerce. You turn bold ideas into measurable results, managing internal workflows and external resources to keep the brand visible, sharp, and growing.

You are the operational force that ensures our message, visuals, and campaigns align with the Crazy Bull ethos - modern, masculine, confident, and distinctly different.

Core Objectives

Plan and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns

that drive measurable engagement, traffic, and sales.

Source and coordinate creative production

(internal and external) to meet campaign goals under defined budget constraints.

Manage e-commerce growth

across Shopify, Amazon, Faire, and TikTok Shop.

Translate analytics into actionable strategy

for content, paid ads, and conversion improvement.

Maintain brand consistency

across B2B, B2C, and ambassador channels.

Deliver scalability

- build systems and relationships that let the brand grow efficiently with minimal waste.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Campaign Strategy & Leadership

Develop and oversee monthly marketing campaigns tied to sales goals, new launches, and seasonal events. Brief and manage content creation through internal staff and external freelancers, creators, or agencies. Build scalable content systems - repurposing, batching, and automating wherever possible. Maintain a campaign tracker with timelines, budgets, and expected ROI. Present results and learnings during monthly strategy reviews.

2. Content Production & Outsourcing

Coordinate photo/video shoots, brand visuals, and social assets through internal team or vetted external partners. Identify gaps in skill, capacity, or style and proactively source freelancers (e.g., videographers, editors, designers). Negotiate fair, scalable freelance or agency budgets that align with Crazy Bull's growth stage. Ensure all deliverables meet brand standards and timelines. Create and manage an approved vendor list for quick future outsourcing.

3. Social Media & Community

Oversee all organic content planning and scheduling on Meta, TikTok, and YouTube. Approve visual direction, captions, and campaign themes for weekly posting cycles. Supervise community engagement strategy (comments, DMs, tags) with tone alignment and escalation protocol. Analyze performance metrics weekly; adjust direction based on engagement and trend data.

4. E-Commerce & Platform Management

Oversee product listings, pricing, and creative updates across Shopify, Amazon, Faire, and TikTok Shop. Collaborate with the E-Commerce Manager to improve UX, conversion rates, and on-site storytelling. Launch and test bundles, limited editions, and promo campaigns tied to brand events. Ensure brand visuals are consistent across all marketplaces.

5. Paid Media & Performance

Work with internal or external media buyers to brief, review, and optimize ad content for Meta, TikTok, and Google. Use performance data to direct creative decisions -- thumbnails, CTAs, copy tone, targeting. Maintain a monthly ad performance dashboard and identify opportunities for scale or correction.

6. CRM & Email Marketing

Lead the strategy, design, and scheduling of weekly email campaigns (Shopify Email). Manage segmentation for B2B (barbers/salons) and B2C (consumers). Optimize subject lines, imagery, and CTAs for higher engagement. Track analytics for open rates, CTR, and conversion and present quarterly performance summaries. Lead experiments in viral formats, storytelling hooks, and UGC amplification.

7. Cross-Department & External Coordination

Collaborate with Sales for B2B campaigns and sample pack pushes. Sync with Logistics for product launch readiness and fulfilment timing. Coordinate with Content Exec and Social/Engagement Exec to distribute workloads effectively. Support Directors with reports, strategy decks, and external partner negotiations.

Required Skills

Strong creative direction and storytelling instincts. Analytical mindset; able to interpret data and pivot strategy quickly. Confident delegator; knows when to execute, when to outsource, and how to keep both efficient. Excellent project management, organization, and attention to detail. Strong negotiation and vendor management skills. Passion for men's grooming, lifestyle branding, and fashion + barber culture. Bonus points if comfortable acting in content or presenting on camera.
