As we continue to build the UK's largest, most trusted and reliable roofing company for homeowners, we're seeking an exceptional
Marketing Manager
to lead our marketing function and drive measurable growth across all channels.
The Role
The
Head of Marketing
will take full ownership of executing Taylor Roofs' marketing strategy, driving both the
volume and quality of homeowner leads
that fuel our continued growth.
You'll bring focus, accountability, and creativity to a small but dynamic marketing function -- working closely with our in-house media person and managing a trusted group of outsourced partners, including specialists in Meta Ads, SEO, Google Ads, and creative design.
Reporting directly to the
Managing Director
and
Board
, you'll coordinate all marketing activity across digital, print, and brand, ensuring the strategy is executed consistently, measured rigorously, and fully aligned with the company's growth objectives.
Over time, you'll help build and strengthen the in-house team while maintaining the right balance between internal capability and external expertise.
Key Responsibilities
Execute and optimise Taylor Roofs' marketing strategy to increase the
volume and quality of homeowner leads
.
Oversee and coordinate the activities of all external marketing partners -- including digital agencies, Meta Ads freelancers, SEO providers, designers, printers, and signage partners.
Manage and support the in-house media team, ensuring high-quality content, video, and brand assets are consistently delivered.
Track, measure, and report on key performance metrics via a
Marketing Department Scorecard
and weekly reporting to the Board.
Maintain accountability through
Marketing Level 10 meetings
, ensuring all activity is aligned to targets and outcomes.
Oversee brand consistency across all customer touchpoints -- including literature, uniforms, vans, signage, and digital presence.
Manage marketing budgets effectively, ensuring clear ROI on all campaigns.
Collaborate with leadership to align marketing activity with sales goals, seasonal demands, and strategic objectives.
Continuously seek new opportunities to build brand visibility and community engagement in line with Taylor Roofs' values.
The Person
You're a
hands-on marketing leader
who thrives in a small, fast-moving environment where accountability and impact matter. You balance creativity with commercial focus and are as comfortable briefing an agency as you are analysing lead data or directing an in-house shoot.
Essential Experience
Proven track record of managing marketing for a service-based or home improvement business.
Strong understanding of digital channels -- Meta Ads, SEO, Google/Bing Ads, and lead-generation funnels.
Confident coordinating multiple external partners and ensuring measurable results.
Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience overseeing print and branding assets (uniforms, vehicles, signage, brochures, etc.).
Analytical and data-driven, with a track record of improving ROI on marketing spend.
Desirable
Experience in the construction, roofing, or trades industry.
Familiarity with
Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS)
frameworks (Scorecards, Level 10s).
Experience building or leading small teams.
Knowledge of CRM and lead-tracking systems.
