About Far & Wild Travel

At Far & Wild Travel, we don't just sell holidays - we create once-in-a-lifetime adventures. From African safaris to remote island escapes, we specialise in tailor-made trips that combine expertise, passion, and a love for the planet. With offices in London and Penrith, our small but mighty team has over 100 years of travel experience, and we're growing fast. If you love travel, storytelling, and digital marketing - this could be your next big adventure.

Role Overview

We're looking for a hands-on Marketing Manager to drive our marketing strategy and get stuck into delivery. Reporting to the Communications & Operations Director, this is a pivotal role for someone who enjoys shaping strategy and rolling up their sleeves to make it happen. You'll work closely with our talented team to inspire travellers and generate high-quality enquiries -- one day mapping out campaigns, the next editing website content, setting up a Zapier integration, or launching PPC activity. This isn't just a management role; you'll lead, shape and do.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & planning: Develop and deliver our marketing strategy across all channels, ensuring alignment with business goals and brand values. Digital marketing: Own PPC, retargeting and paid social. Analyse and optimise performance, confidently jumping in to set up and manage campaigns when needed. Website & SEO: Oversee and create content, SEO and CRO, working with developers to implement improvements. Be happy jumping into the backend of a website and editing web pages and writing style guides. Content & communications: Manage social media, newsletters and PR outreach, creating inspiring content that connects with travellers. CRM & loyalty: Oversee Pipedrive, Mailchimp, Zapier and other integrations, optimising customer journeys and loyalty comms. New product launches: Actively lead launches -- writing copy, working with DMCs to source the best trips, and managing digital campaigns and website updates end-to end. Brand & design: Champion the brand across all channels, managing design briefs and ensuring on-brand outputs. Budget & reporting: Manage marketing spend and produce clear performance reports. Team leadership: Line-manage the marketing team, support junior staff and foster a collaborative, high-performing culture. Sustainability: Embed our 'Doing Good' strategy, promoting responsible travel across all activity.

We're looking for someone who:

Has 5+ years' marketing experience (ideally in travel or hospitality). Combines strategic thinking with practical, hands-on delivery. Knows how to use digital channels (PPC, SEO, email, social) to generate enquiries. Is organised, analytical and confident managing budgets and reporting. Communicates clearly and enjoys working collaboratively. Shares our passion for sustainable, responsible travel.

What We Offer

20 days' holiday + bank holidays. Real ownership from day one - your work will have a direct impact. Opportunities to travel to some of our incredible destinations. Access to trade rates for your own adventures. A supportive, close-knit team where your ideas are valued. Plenty of scope to learn, grow, and develop your role as we expand.

Please apply with your CV and a cover letter detailing why you would be right for the role. Please note only applications that include a cover letter will be considered.
