To develop and enhance the venue's Marketing and Publicity including its brand, visibility and approach to audience development.
Work with the Theatre Director, Accounts and other relevant staff and volunteers to increase engagement with the programme and maximise ticket sales for events.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Maintain and develop the venues website(s).
To plan and deliver marketing campaigns for all areas of activity.
Ensure all shows and events are put on sale on the ticketing system and live events are on sale in accordance with contractual agreements.
Create all social media content, helping to develop the digital marketing reach and engagement of our audience on-line.
Be the main source for creating, writing and proof-reading publicity materials. Design all print materials and liaise with printers to produce print media and advertising.
Liaise with press and broadcast media identifying opportunities, writing press releases and hosting journalistic visits.
Take day to day responsibility for production of brochures and raising income from promotional activity and sponsorship.
Ensure that print displays are up to date and visually appealing and manage the distribution of publicity materials.
Working with the Theatre Director, supported by focus group findings and audience feedback, provide input to the Regal's programming.
Organise small focus groups based on different parts of the community (eg different postcodes, schools) to develop marketing to existing and potential audiences.
Undertake administrative duties involved in maintaining sales records, running marketing reports and maintaining the venue's database.
Research new publicity opportunities and potential avenues of funding working with the Theatre Director to provide support for fundraising bids.
Work with the Theatre Director and management team to support delivery of partnership and outreach projects and undertake other duties in support of the organisation as reasonably required.
Create regular e-newsletter campaigns.
Creation of video advertising content for digital displays in the venue.
Creation and delivery of ad hoc marketing campaigns such as festivals, celebrations etc.
Assist with the box-office operation including management of the on-line booking system. Liaise with external partners and oversee our third-party ticketing service.
Line Management responsible for two zero hour marketing assistants.
