Aims of Job/Job Purpose



A creative and versatile digital marketer, the post-holder will play a key role in delivering the College's web and customer journey strategy --with a strong focus on producing and coordinating engaging content for a wide range of audiences.

This is a hands-on role that blends creativity with technical know-how. You'll lead on content creation across multiple formats (written, video, visual), the website, and help shape the online customer journey through tools like HubSpot. You'll also support digital campaigns, SEO optimisation, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure our digital presence is fresh, accessible, and impactful.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities



Creative Content Co-ordination:Lead the creation, editing, and publishing of engaging, accurate, and accessible content across digital platforms. Coordinate content production that reflects the College's brand and resonates with target Organise content in a variety of formats including: + Written articles and copy
+ Video and multimedia assets
+ Visual graphics and infographics
+ Email and social media content
Visit College campuses and external events to gather content first-hand, or coordinate with colleagues to ensure coverage and capture of key moments and stories. Co-ordinate and update website content across faculties, campuses, and service areas in collaboration with internal stakeholders. Work closely with the web developer and external web agency to enhance user experience, improve SEO, and monitor web traffic.

Digital Marketing CampaignsRespond to briefs with creative digital marketing solutions that meet and exceed campaign objectives. Organise and produce content for targeted email campaigns and lead nurture workflows. Use segmentation, A/B testing, and performance tracking to optimise email effectiveness. Assist in building workflows, email templates, and user lists within the College's CRM (HubSpot).

Paid Digital CampaignsSupport the Assistant Marketing Director in planning and delivering high-performing paid digital campaigns. Monitor campaign performance and adjust strategies to maximise ROI. Analyse data to identify trends, performance gaps, and opportunities for improvement. Produce weekly performance reports with actionable insights for internal stakeholders.

Website ContentOversee digital projects from concept to delivery, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met. Collaborate with marketing colleagues, IT, website developers and academic teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding. Support with guidance and training for colleagues on digital best practices and tools.

Innovation, Continuous Improvement and EventsStay up to date with emerging digital trends, tools, and best practices. Recommend and implement new initiatives to improve engagement and user experience. Regularly review and refine digital processes to enhance efficiency and accessibility. Support the promotion and delivery of College events including Open Days, community activities, and departmental celebrations.
