Marketing Officer

to lead and deliver impactful marketing and communications across our school, teacher training provider (United Teaching National SCITT), and Teaching School Hub.

About the Role



As Marketing Officer, you will play a key role in shaping the public image and digital presence of Paddington Academy and its associated educational organisations. You'll work closely with school leadership and the Head of Cluster Marketing to develop and implement marketing strategies that support student and staff recruitment, celebrate success, and build strong relationships with local communities across six London boroughs.

Key Responsibilities



Develop and execute digital marketing and communications plans. Manage social media channels (X, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube) and websites, ensuring content is engaging, current, and compliant. Create and curate high-quality photo and video content to showcase school life and events. Support strategic campaigns to drive student recruitment at Year 7 and Year 12. Produce termly reports on social media and website performance using analytics tools. Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to produce marketing materials. Promote staff recruitment and community engagement initiatives. Provide marketing support for events, lettings, and income-generating activities.

What We're Looking For



Proven experience in marketing, communications, or digital media--ideally within education or the public sector. Strong writing, editing, and content creation skills. Proficiency in managing social media platforms and website CMS. Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams. A proactive, creative mindset with excellent attention to detail.
