Marketing Officer

Permanent, Full Time 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

Campus: Salisbury, Wiltshire with travel to all campuses

Salary: \xc2\xa325,623 per annum (Professional Services Grade 6) **Pay award pending**

About the role

Due to internal progression, we have an exciting opportunity to join our Marketing and Communications team. We are a small team with big ambitions and are looking for someone to join the team to help us drive our recruitment objectives. We have a wide range of target audiences to engage, therefore no two days are the same.

Using creativity, communication and organisational skills, you will develop strong relationships internally with key members of staff and our local schools too.

  • Planning and coordinating a schedule of internal and external events e.g. open days, school liaison events, award ceremonies
  • Maintaining a central database of contacts with schools, building strong working relationships and ensuring they are aware of the Business Development offer alongside the whole College offer
  • Working with the Digital Marketing Officer to ensure the website is up to date, relevant and effectively communicates our offer and key messages
  • Working with the Marketing Content Editor to collate and write case studies to illustrate student successes and the benefits of studying at the college
  • Creating and uploading content to our social media platforms, working with the team to ensure all output is aligned and on brand
About you

The ideal candidate will:
  • Have generalist marketing skills ideally including writing, social media content creation and event management. Experience of videography would be advantageous but is not essential.
  • Be a customer focused team player with strong communication skills and the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels. You will be adaptable and flexible and be able to effectively react to changing priorities.
  • The role will involve regular travel around Wiltshire so it is essential that any applicants must hold a full driving licence and have access to their own vehicle.
