With recent private equity backing and ambitious growth plans, we're transforming how large-scale hospitality operations manage their business, and at the heart of that is our marketing team. Our Head Office is in Hessle, HU13, however hybrid working is also available in Manchester.



We're on the hunt for a

Marketing Operations Manager

to help build out our marketing techstack and automations. This is a hands-on role perfect for someone who gets excited about building sophisticated automation systems, managing email marketing campaigns, and turning data into actionable insights to help grow a business.



You'll own our ActiveCampaign platform and broader marketing automation ecosystem, designing and building complex, segmented automations, email campaigns, and advertising integrations that drive our enterprise customer acquisition and retention strategies.



You will also own and (along with the Director of Marketing and Head of Sales) build out and refine our MQL to SQL process/connections across our tech stacks, as well as be involved in building an in house tool for automated lead scoring.


Key Responsibilities




CRM & Marketing Automation

You'll own our ActiveCampaign platform end-to-end, building sophisticated email campaigns, multi-step automations, and enterprise-level nurture sequences, in collaboration with our designers and content writers. This includes creating seamless integrations between ActiveCampaign, Salesforce, Aha!, Matomo, our ads platforms, and reporting tools, using webhooks, apis, and n8n. You'll ensure data quality and GDPR compliance while continuously optimising performance across all automated workflows.

Strategic Planning & Analysis

Collaborate with the Marketing Director and Head of Sales to translate business objectives into automated workflows and provide strategic consultation on tool selection and technology decisions. Generate actionable insights from automation data and create comprehensive documentation for all systems and processes to support business growth.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with Sales to ensure seamless data flow between marketing and sales systems, particularly around Salesforce integration and lead handover processes. Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and other teams on automation requirements while training team members on automation capabilities and best practices.

General Marketing

Support the team as needed with the day to day running of the marketing function of the business including attending events, monitoring reporting, supporting with content creation, digital PR and research, and more.

Our Marketing Technology Stack





You'll be working with a modern, integrated tech stack including: ActiveCampaign, Matomo, Salesforce, Webflow, Aha! Roadmaps, Google Looker Studio, Zapier/Make/n8n, Microsoft Suite, SEMrush, plus we're always evaluating new technologies to enhance our capabilities, as well as building our own.


Technical Skills




Advanced ActiveCampaign expertise

: Deep knowledge of campaigns, automations, segmentation, CRM hygiene, and custom reporting

Integration platforms

: Proficient with no-code/low-code tools (Make, Zapier, n8n) for complex multi-system workflows and automations.

CRM experience

: Working knowledge of Salesforce or similar enterprise CRM platforms

Data analysis

: Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills with ability to analyse and interpret data

Marketing strategy

: A good understanding of long term planning and strategic, curious thinking

Experience




5+ years in marketing automation, CRM management, or similar technical marketing role Proven track record of building and optimising complex automation workflows across multiple platforms Experience with enterprise-level marketing technology stacks Background in B2B marketing automation preferred

Desirable Skills




Experience with hospitality or SaaS B2B industry Knowledge of marketing attribution and lead scoring methodologies Project management experience Comfortable working with AI tools and technologies
