The Role

The role of Marketing Planning Manager will be to manage the planning and production of insight-based sales, brand and marketing plans that deliver the P&O Cruises strategic priorities. These plans will be insights-driven and forward-thinking, to enable long term measurable success.

You will:

  • Provide a suite of key planning tools which have value and purpose and manage with a clear process and overarching governance.
  • Co-Ordinate, deliver and evolve the quarterly marketing plan, working closely with the other planning functions across the business, identifying priorities, aligning plans and maintaining best practice across all planning functions.
  • Be accountable for the go-to-market communication planner.
  • Assist with the creation and utilisation of the Sales, Brand & Marketing 12-18 month rolling planner
  • Work with commercial planning and revenue management to deliver a campaign laydown roadmap
  • Identify opportunities to improve the marketing planning process - driving simplicity and efficiency
Our role categories range from CUK15 (entry level) to CUK1 (Brand President) so you can clearly see internal development opportunities. This role is a CUK07 and is offered on a full time permanent basis with at least two days based in our Southampton office.

About You

Fresh ideas and different perspectives are what excite us most and help us to succeed. Alongside bringing these to the role, you\'ll also need:
  • Experience of integrated marketing strategy, marketing planning and marketing practices
  • Proven experience working effectively across multiple departments along with being able to drive change by influencing stakeholders at all levels, ideally within a matrix style organisation
  • Experience in reviewing data and developing insights to be able to make meaningful planning recommendations
  • Strong Project Management experience with the ability to prioritise tasks amd assess the big picture while working toward improving efficiency and optimising delivery
  • Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Numerical data interpretation and analysis skills
