Are you a creative and driven marketing professional with a passion for storytelling, digital engagement and brand building? Brooklands Museum is looking for a Marketing & PR Officer to support the delivery of impactful marketing, PR and communications activity that helps grow our audiences, increase footfall and strengthen our position as a leading cultural attraction.

Hours:
Permanent, full-time - 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday). Some evening, weekend and public holiday work is required to support events, with time off in lieu provided.
Salary:
28,000 per annum

Head of PR, Marketing & Communications
What You'll Do
As part of the Marketing & PR team, you'll play a key role in bringing the Brooklands story to life across multiple channels. Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting the planning and delivery of offline and online marketing campaigns to meet visitor and revenue targets.
Managing and updating the Museum's website, ensuring content is engaging, accessible, on-brand and optimised for SEO and performance.
Overseeing social media channels, creating and scheduling engaging content that grows audiences, builds awareness and drives engagement.
Producing high-quality creative content, including copy, photography and video, in line with brand guidelines.
Supporting PR activity by writing press releases, responding to media enquiries, coordinating editorials and monitoring coverage.
Managing print collateral, promotional signage and onsite advertising across the Museum.
Overseeing weekly e-communications, planning content to align with key business priorities.
Supporting influencer collaborations and maintaining strong relationships with media contacts and partners.
Reporting on digital, social and PR performance, using insights to optimise future activity.
Providing marketing support across the wider Museum teams, including Events, Hospitality, Learning and Operations.
Supporting on-site at events, including live social media coverage and press engagement when required.
Who You Are
You'll be an enthusiastic and organised marketing professional with:
Experience in a marketing, PR or communications role.
Strong copywriting and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Experience managing social media platforms and digital marketing campaigns.
Confidence using digital tools such as CMS platforms, social media management tools, CRM systems and analytics (GA4 desirable).
A creative, proactive mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
A collaborative approach and the confidence to work with colleagues, external agencies, media and partners.
An interest in museums, heritage, aviation, motoring or STEM subjects (desirable).
