Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in a large and reputable UK Charity based in London, but working almost completely remotely? Or are you an established Procurement professional looking for a new opportunity?
My client is a well-established UK Charity, and they are currently recruiting for a 9 to 12 month fixed-term contract as a Procurement Manager, specializing primarily in the charity\'s Marketing function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of purchasing, supplier relationship management, and category management for the Marketing function.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure procurement aligns with organisational goals.
- Drive efficiency and cost-effectiveness through strategic procurement practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize supplier performance.
- Contribute to the Charity\'s mission by ensuring ethical and sustainable procurement practices.
This role will be worked primarily remotely with rare visits to the office for team gatherings required (circa once per quarter).
To be considered, please meet these criteria:
- Proven experience as a Procurement Manager, ideally in a Marketing context.
- Note: Candidates from a Marketing background with a desire to transition into procurement are also encouraged to apply.
- Strong expertise in purchasing, supplier relationship management, and/or category management.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
