Marketing Senior Events & Business Development Executive

Job Description



Delivering new client acquisition and exceptional client and prospect events that strengthen relationships, enhance the Arbuthnot Latham brand. This role combines event delivery with proactive business development to drive engagement, generate leads, and convert new relationships into long-term clients. Where applicable, to place the interests of customers at the centre of all activities, act in a way that is consistent with achieving good outcomes for consumers; and to comply with the FCA and PRA's Conduct Rules.


Key Responsibilities:




Business Development (Acquisition)




Support the acquisition of new clients and introducers across key target segments. Work collaboratively with Bankers, Investment Managers and the Growth Enablement Team to identify, engage, and convert new business opportunities generated through events and direct outreach. Support the Business Development Manager to build and maintain relationships with external networks, professional intermediaries, and key prospects. Track and report pipeline activity, conversion metrics, and performance via Salesforce. Attending internal and external events, industry forums, and client gatherings to promote Arbuthnot Latham's proposition and identify new business opportunities. Support follow-up and onboarding new relationships to ensure seamless client experience.




Events:




Manage the end-to-end delivery of client and prospect events, including internal coordination, venue liaison, invitations, communications, and budget oversight. Ensure events reflect Arbuthnot Latham's values, brand standards, and client experience expectations. Collaborate with the Growth Enablement Team to align event delivery with client engagement and retention goals. Define measurable KPIs for each event, focusing on engagement, attendance quality, and ROI. Monitor and report on event performance using Salesforce and other tracking mechanisms. Lead flagship and high-profile events and other client engagement experiences.

Responsible for managing risks inherent to the role by diligently observing internal policies and procedures.

Knowledge/

Experience/Skills:




Confident, Serial Networker with Sales experience Ambitious, Creative thinker with an eye for detail. Substantial experience of event management including event management experience for high-net-worth clients/prospects - individuals with high expectations. Developed ability to manage multiple stakeholders, both internally and third-party providers e.g. venues, caterers etc. Comfortable offering creative input in team settings, contributing ideas to support marketing and growth initiatives Broad understanding of banking, lending, and wealth management is an advantage (including investment management) Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
