Position Overview
The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for planning, implementing, and managing digital marketing strategies with a strong focus on
PPC advertising, SEO optimisation, and social media marketing
. This role requires an individual with demonstrable experience in developing data-driven campaigns that deliver measurable results, increase brand visibility, and generate qualified leads. Currently, our marketing is managed by agencies and has been for the best part of 7 years, and we now want to move things forward with the correct individual. This individual would be heading up all marketing for the business, giving creative freedom and working closely with the directors to ensure the same end goal but also a fantastic opportunity for someone to lead a department for a family-run business.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and optimise
PPC campaigns
across Google Ads, Bing, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms.
Develop and execute
SEO strategies
, including keyword research, on-page and off-page optimisations, and continuous performance monitoring.
Manage the company's
social media presence
, creating content calendars, overseeing engagement, and enhancing audience growth across platforms.
Keep the company's WordPress website updated and optimised for performance, security, and SEO.
Produce regular reports by analysing performance metrics and providing actionable insights.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging digital technologies to inform and refine campaigns.
Work collaboratively with management to ensure marketing initiatives align with overall business objectives.
Qualifications and Experience
Proven track record in
PPC campaign management, SEO, and social media marketing
.
Hands-on experience with
WordPress websites
includes content updates, plugin management, and SEO optimisation.
Proficiency in tools such as Google Ads, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or equivalent.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and present insights effectively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling content.
Organised, proactive, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Desirable:
Experience within the
construction, infrastructure, or telecommunications sectors

Desirable:
Familiarity with marketing automation platforms and design software.
What We Offer
The starting salary is in the range of
32.5-37.5k
, dependent on experience.
Bonuses are based on performance.
