About Us:
MGS provides software and service solutions tailored specifically for the automotive industry in the UK. We are dedicated to providing innovative software solutions that empower OEM and Dealers businesses to thrive. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Technology & Campaign Specialist to join our team.
About the Role:
We are looking for a Marketing Technology & Campaign Specialist - someone who bridges the gap between marketing creativity and technical execution. This role is ideal for someone who understands the mechanics behind great marketing: from building dynamic templates to guiding best practice across CRM, email, and digital campaigns, with a good understanding of the UK automotive sector.
You will work alongside our marketing and client service teams, offering hands-on support in creating assets, setting up campaigns, and helping us (and our clients) do things smarter, faster and better.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Template and Asset Creation
Build and maintain email, landing page and campaign templates (HTML, CSS, CRM tools).
Work with the team to design reusable, scalable marketing components.
Marketing Technology Support
Act as the go-to person for technical marketing queries.
Advise the team on best practice across CRM, email marketing platforms, personalisation, tracking and automation.
Troubleshoot issues and suggest better ways of working.
Client Guidance
Support client-facing teams with technical advice: what we should be doing, why, and how.
Help translate marketing goals into executable, measurable campaigns.
Innovation and Improvement
Keep up to date with marketing technology trends and suggest new ideas for clients and internal projects.
Identify ways to improve campaign efficiency, data use and reporting.

A solid understanding of marketing technology, platforms and processes
Ideally, some experience supporting client accounts with an automotive marketing background
Experience with CRM systems, email marketing tools and automation platforms
Working knowledge of HTML and CSS for email and landing page creation (does not need to be a developer, but comfortable getting hands-on)
Strong grasp of campaign tracking, segmentation and personalisation best practice
Confidence in communicating technical ideas in plain English to both the team and clients
An understanding of GDPR legislation and compliance
Proactive, solutions-focused and comfortable suggesting better ways of working
