Role Overview
Are you an experienced marketing professional with a passion for developing others? Whether you're an established trainer or looking to make the move into teaching, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
We're looking for a dedicated individual to deliver Level 3 Multi-Channel Marketer Apprenticeships and other adult education marketing programmes to learners across the North East and beyond.
You will deliver engaging and informative training sessions--both online and face-to-face--to support learners through their apprenticeship journey from induction to End-Point Assessment. You'll guide apprentices in building their portfolios and developing the knowledge, skills, and behaviours they need to succeed in their careers. By building strong relationships with both learners and their employers, you'll ensure training is relevant, practical, and aligned with real-world marketing practices. Your ability to adapt your approach to meet individual learning needs will be key to helping every learner reach their full potential.
Typical duties of the Marketing Trainer will include:
To coach, mentor and guide learners who are engaged on apprenticeship programmes
Deliver inspirational training and coaching sessions to groups and individual learners
Actively support, mentor and motivate learners across the learner journey to help them with the timely completion of their learning aims and qualification
Identify and assess learners' needs and put in place robust learning plans, with realistic and challenging goals, that enable learners to understand their personal journey and realise their potential
Develop original and adapt existing learning materials to meet the needs of apprentices and employers, and ensure full coverage of the relevant apprenticeship standard
Observe, mark, and review work produced by learners to ensure it is of the appropriate standard to reflect the learner's qualification and meet the needs of the qualification.
Provide insightful, constructive and informative feedback to help the learner maximise their potential
Proactively monitor, evaluate and improve the quality and effectiveness of own workload and working practices to ensure deadlines and targets are met and that the learner has an outstanding experience
Provide regular, accurate learner progression information and compliance documents to ensure monthly funding compliance
Support learners in their study of Functional Skills English and maths
Vetting, enrolling and coaching the learners from pre-induction through to the End Point Assessment.
Essential Criteria
The following would be highly desirable in candidates for this role:
Previous experience of assessing, training or mentoring in an Apprenticeships setting
Previous experience with either the Digital Marketer Apprenticeship Standard/ Multi channel Marketing Apprenticeship Standard
Relevant Digital Marketing qualification (for example, a Digital Marketing Apprenticeship, Degree in Marketing, CIM Qualification, etc.)
Relevant occupational competence in Digital Marketing.
Experience of presenting technical training courses
Mentoring/Assessing qualification
Previous experience of supporting apprentices through EPA, including knowledge of the gateway process
Teaching/training qualification or willingness to work towards (e.g., PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS, PGCE etc.)
