The Marketplace Marketing Lead drives advertising, listing and promotional strategies on marketplace channels including Amazon and Walmart. You will refine targeting, optimise listings, forecast demand and align activities with product availability to boost revenue and profitability. This lead role requires at least two years of advertising experience on Amazon.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and execute advertising and promotional campaigns, including seasonal events such as Prime Day, Black Friday and Christmas, in partnership with the Head of Marketplace; manage budgets to maximise return on investment.
Optimise titles, bullet points, images and A+ content to improve visibility, click through and conversion rates.
Analyse customer behaviour, search trends and marketplace sales to refine targeting and inform accurate sell out forecasts; provide insights into product performance, seasonal trends and consumer demand to support inventory planning and promotional calendars
Partner with the Merchandising and FinOps teams to ensure advertising and promotions align with stock levels and pricing strategies.
Coordinate with the wider marketing and studio teams to integrate marketplaces initiatives into broader campaigns and develop clear asset briefs for Amazon Stores and other channels.
Monitor, analyse and report on campaign, product and promotional performance to the Head of Marketplace; use data insights to identify improvement opportunities and implement changes to drive enhanced results
Key Skills and Experience
Essential:
Minimum two years managing advertising campaigns on Amazon Seller or Vendor Central
Strong analytical skills and a data driven mindset
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Proficiency with Amazon Brand Analytics, Intentwise or equivalent
Desirable:
Experience with Amazon DSP and Amazon Marketing Cloud AMC
Background in multi-channel marketing beyond Amazon
Familiarity with advanced ad formats, automation tools or ERP and marketing automation platforms
