We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Martial Arts Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in martial arts and experience in teaching or coaching. This role involves instructing students of all ages in various martial arts disciplines, fostering a positive and encouraging environment that promotes physical fitness, discipline, and respect.
Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and effective martial arts classes to students of varying skill levels.
Develop lesson plans that cater to the needs and abilities of individual students.
Teach fundamental techniques, forms, and sparring methods while ensuring safety protocols are followed.
Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their skills and confidence.
Organise and lead workshops, seminars, and events to promote martial arts within the community.
Maintain a clean and safe training environment, ensuring all equipment is properly stored and maintained.
Foster a sense of community among students by encouraging teamwork, respect, and camaraderie.
Requirements
Proven experience in martial arts with relevant qualifications or certifications.
Previous experience in sports coaching or teaching is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students.
A passion for martial arts and a commitment to promoting its benefits.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
