Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Martial Arts Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in martial arts and experience in coaching or teaching. This role involves instructing students of various ages and skill levels, fostering a positive learning environment, and promoting the values of discipline, respect, and perseverance inherent in martial arts.

Responsibilities

Deliver engaging and structured martial arts classes to students of all ages and skill levels. Develop lesson plans that cater to the needs of individual students while ensuring safety and proper technique. Provide constructive feedback to students to enhance their skills and confidence. Maintain a positive and motivating atmosphere that encourages student participation and growth. Organise and participate in events, competitions, and demonstrations to showcase student progress. Ensure all equipment is maintained in good condition and the training area is kept clean and safe. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding progress, behaviour, and any concerns.

Qualifications

Proven experience in sports coaching or teaching, preferably in martial arts. Strong knowledge of various martial arts disciplines with relevant certifications being an advantage. Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with students of diverse backgrounds. A passion for teaching and mentoring others while promoting a healthy lifestyle through martial arts. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as required by class schedules. First Aid certification is desirable but not essential; training can be provided. Pay: 20.51-44.53 per hour
