We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Martial Arts Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in martial arts and sports coaching, with a commitment to educating students of all ages in the principles and techniques of martial arts. This role is perfect for individuals who are enthusiastic about fostering discipline, respect, and physical fitness through martial arts training.

Duties

Conduct engaging and informative martial arts classes for students of varying skill levels. Develop lesson plans that cater to the needs and abilities of individual students while promoting overall skill development. Educate students on the history, philosophy, and techniques of martial arts. Ensure a safe training environment by enforcing safety protocols and guidelines. Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their skills and confidence. Organise and participate in events such as competitions, demonstrations, and seminars to promote the martial arts programme. Maintain accurate attendance records and progress reports for each student.

Requirements

Proven experience in sports coaching or teaching martial arts is highly desirable. Strong communication skills with the ability to educate effectively. A deep understanding of various martial arts disciplines (e.g., Karate, Taekwondo, Judo) is preferred. Ability to motivate and inspire students while fostering a positive learning environment. First Aid certification is an advantage but not essential; willingness to obtain one is required. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed for classes and events.
