. This role gives children the chance to develop fitness, coordination, focus, and confidence while learning beginner martial arts skills in a safe, structured, and encouraging environment.
The club runs
Tuesdays, 3:30pm - 4:30pm (1 hour per week).
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise a small group of primary-aged children in beginner-friendly martial arts sessions.
Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that develop physical skills, discipline, and self-control.
Promote confidence, respect, teamwork, and enjoyment through martial arts practice.
Communicate effectively with school staff and, where appropriate, parents regarding children's progress.
Ensure the activity space and any equipment are organised, safe, and ready for each session.
Experience & Skills
Experience teaching martial arts, karate, or similar disciplines to children in schools or club settings.
Ability to motivate and inspire young learners in a structured yet enjoyable environment.
Strong English communication skills for effective interaction with children, staff, and parents.
Relevant martial arts coaching qualifications or experience are highly desirable.
