Freelance Martial Arts Coach - Primary Schools (Manchester)
Are you a skill martial arts coach looking to take on additional hours?
Do you want to share your skills, build confidence in young people, and pick up flexible, rewarding additional hours?
FIFTH Movement is expanding its specialist provision and we're looking for exceptional martial arts coaches to deliver high-energy, engaging after-school clubs across Manchester.
This is not a role for someone who simply wants to supervise a session, we want coaches who can lead, motivate, and create memorable experiences for children aged 4-11.
About the Role
As a Freelance Martial Arts Coach with FIFTH Movement, you will:
Lead fun, structured martial arts sessions for KS1 and KS2 pupils.
Bring your passion, personality, and discipline to every session.
Introduce children to the foundations of martial arts in a safe, supportive environment.
Encourage physical development, respect, focus, and confidence.
Manage behaviour effectively and ensure all children are fully engaged.
Represent FIFTH Movement with professionalism while maintaining your own coaching style.
What We're Looking For
You'll be a great fit if you have:
Recognised martial arts qualification or proven coaching/instructor experience
Experience working with children in a school, club, or coaching environment
Strong behaviour management and the ability to lead a group with confidence
A passion for teaching martial arts and helping children discover new skills
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
Driving licence and access to a vehicle (required for travel between schools)
Reliability and commitment, schools count on us, and we count on you
