We at G Force Martial Arts are excited to be expanding our thriving Martial Arts team in Rugby!
We are seeking individual(s) with a passion for Martial Arts to support our provision in the Rugby area. As well as supporting the instructor team at our HQ location in Rugby, this role will include activities such as:
supporting the development of instruction at new 'satellite' locations
building relationships within and delivering sessions at local schools
running birthday parties at our HQ venue
supporting community and promotional events
We are looking for someone who has proven experience in delivering fitness training, is able to teach people of all ages, and has experience in and/or would be open to learning how to teach Martial Arts through our curriculum. The successful candidate must also be enthusiastic about support the development of people of all ages, both inside and outside of the traditional Martial Arts setting.
Our lesson plans have been developed over 20 years by G Force founder Sensei Gordon Burcham (3 times World Kickboxing champion) who still today oversees his 600 student Martial Arts school in Rugby, as well as satellite locations across the country. Full training in our syllabus will be provided.
As a member of the G Force instructor team, your responsibilities will include proactively delivering our curriculum in classes and courses, up to a level appropriate to your own training, and in a way that is consistent across all of our locations nationwide. As part of your role you will be trained in and qualified in the G Force 12 module instructor programme.
There may also be enhanced future opportunities for you to train in and deliver sessions in addition to the standard instructing, such as teaching skills workshops, running holiday clubs or supporting the team with new opportunities in the club and the wider community.

However the successful candidate(s) must be able to offer a reasonable degree of flexibility in working hours to accommodate for activities such as school visits, assemblies, workshops, courses, parties and events.

What we require from you...
You have trained for a minimum of 6 months in a martial art (must be in kickboxing, karate, taekwondo or similar striking martial arts).
You have proven experience in teaching martial arts, or fitness training, as a personal trainer, fitness instructor, or similar.
You must be located within 20 minutes of G Force Rugby and able to drive to classes or community event locations.
You have a passion for martial arts and/or physical fitness training.
You enjoy learning new things and improving.
You enjoy teaching and supporting others.
You are an excellent communicator.
You want to be a part of the fastest growing martial arts brand in the country.
You are excellent at following processes.
You are highly professional and positive in your thoughts, words, action and appearance.
You are extremely organised and efficient and deliver even under pressure.
You learn from your mistakes, continually acquire new skills and ways of improving what you do.
You must be willing to attend team meetings, initial intensive trainings and occasional instructor training and development sessions in Rugby, Warwickshire.
You must be 18 or over, as you will often be solely responsible for the running of classes/events, the supervision of under 18's, and have the general responsibility for suitable use and care of the hired space and equipment in the absence of the business owner / partner.
Appointment will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
