Join our dedicated team as a MASH Social Worker in Newcastle, where you will play a crucial role in safeguarding children and supporting families in need. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring that vulnerable children receive the best possible care and support.
Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
  • Collaborating with partner agencies, including health, education, and law enforcement, to develop effective intervention strategies.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in accordance with legal and organizational standards.
  • Providing guidance and support to families to promote positive outcomes for children.
  • Participating in regular team meetings and case discussions to share insights and strategies.
To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
  • A recognized social work qualification (Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Registered with Social Work England.
  • Experience in child protection and safeguarding practices.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a diverse caseload.
