Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mason to join our dedicated team at Stalbridge Quarries Ltd. Located near Sherborne, this role is vital for constructing and maintaining stone walls, as well as doing block work.

Responsibilities

Construct and repair walls, buildings, and other structures using stone materials. Lay bricks and blocks according to specifications and design plans. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete masonry tasks. Ensure all work meets safety standards and quality expectations. Collaborate with other construction professionals to achieve project goals. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Mason or in a similar role within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of masonry techniques and materials. Familiarity with using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
