Position Overview

Amethyst Therapeutic Care Limited is seeking an experienced and compassionate Massage Therapist, with 2-3 years of industry experience

in any of the following services:

Cupping

Sound Therapy

Scalp Massage

Hot Stone

Meditation

Baby Massage

As a Massage Therapist, you will deliver a variety of therapeutic massage treatments tailored to the unique needs of each client, contributing to their overall health and relaxation.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct detailed client consultations to assess individual needs, preferences, and medical history prior to each session.

Provide a range of massage techniques customised to client needs.

Ensure a calm, comfortable, and private environment for each client during their session.

Maintain accurate client records, including treatment plans, session notes, and progress documentation.

Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and provide recommendations for post-treatment care.

Ensure the therapy room is clean, organized, and prepared with all necessary supplies for each session.

Comply with company policies, health and safety standards, and industry ethical guidelines.

Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and stay current with industry practices.

Qualifications and Requirements

Certified Level 3 or above Massage Therapist 2-3 years of hands-on experience as a Massage Therapist, with proficiency in various massage techniques Strong communication skills and the ability to build and maintain client relationships A caring, empathetic approach with a genuine interest in improving clients' wellbeing Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Flexibility in scheduling, with the ability to work both weekdays and weekends as needed Membership with a recognised professional body (e.g. CThA, FHT) is advantageous
