At Hagleys Beauty Academy, we are proud to offer Beauty, Massage, Nails and Aesthetics training and assessment in Edgbaston, Birmingham. We provide both government funded and commercially funded courses to primarily existing therapists however, also deliver pathways to new entrants.

HBA are currently in a growth phase and are seeking talented Massage trainer and assessor to become part of our team. We welcome applications from experienced sector tutors and assessors who have a passion for teaching and expertise in this sector.

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans for massage therapy students, focusing on both theoretical knowledge and practical skills. Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes. Foster a supportive learning environment, adapting teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs, including those of children and individuals with special education requirements. Maintain clear communication with students and staff to ensure effective collaboration and understanding of course objectives.

Required Experience and Qualifications:

In possession of a training qualification, PTLLS, AET or equivalent, and relevant teaching experience. In possession of a assessing qualification A1, CAVA and relevant assessing experience

A positive attitude Excellent communication skills Hands-on experience in the industry A willingness to continue self-development A passion for helping students achieve great results

Ideal but Not Essential:

Other relevant Beauty qualifications IQA qualifications are desirable but not essential.
