About the Role

To oversee the development and implementation of the master data, ensuring data accuracy, consistency and governance across systems. Working with stakeholders to align data practices with business objectives, manage data quality and maintain a trusted, single source of accurate data.

To manage the master data specialists that provide robust master data support for the business across products, customers and vendors. To ensure that the team are following agreed procedures and be the first escalation point for support, training and development.

Main Responsibilities

Oversee data quality management, ensuring data accuracy, consistency and process/governance compliance. Responsible for data nomenclature and taxonomy standardization. Work closely with IT and business teams to understand data needs and ensure MDM solutions support business strategy. Define roles and responsibilities within the team. To ensure team is cross-trained and adaptable dependent on business needs. To define policies, guidelines and target metrics to monitor performance and team KPI's. Absence management, holiday approval, regular 121's, annual PDR's and salary reviews. Provide training and support to teams on proper data management practices. Responsible for continuous improvement of master data processes. Make decisions on MDM model changes in alignment with IT/Business teams.

Who we are looking for

Experience in data management, preferably in an MDM role Leadership and team management skills SAP knowledge desirable Proficiency in data analysis and problem-solving Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
