Q&A stewarding staff and Supervisors on Matchdays to ascertain their knowledge and understanding of their' s and the clubs responsibilities under such legislation.

Main Accountabilities
To champion best practices and procedures of match day stewarding.
To perform routine inspections of match day stewards and security personnel.
To ensure that established standards and safety regulations are observed.
To discuss issues and proposed solutions with supervisors.
To provide constructive feedback make recommendations for improvements.
To keep up to date with legislation and procedures relating to safety at sports grounds.
To create match day reports of your observations and report these back to the Safety Team..
To ensure at all times the Stewards code of conduct is adhered to.
To follow safeguarding policies and procedures as outlined by Brentford FC and report any safeguarding/welfare incidents that may take place during, before and after an event.
To communicate your availability efficiently & effectively with Brentford FC and assist in all activities as requested by the Match Day Safety Team. Attend training sessions when required.
Assist in accordance with the Club's Contingency Plans during any emergency incidents, pitch incursion/invasion. and evacuation of the stadium.
Develop an excellent knowledge of the geographical layout of the Stadium in which you are employed, in particular its entry and exit routes and to know the emergency evacuation messages as relevant to all areas of the Stadium.

Person Specification - Essential Characteristics
Have a friendly and approachable attitude.
Hold a minimum of a Level 3 or Higher qualification in Spectator Safety.
Be committed to improving the Match Day Safety Operation through upholding high standards of stewarding.
