Planning and Delivery Leads

for a

Job description - the role:



Purpose of the role:


Working within the Repair and Overhaul business you will manage a suite of suppliers driving on time delivery with the supply chain through effective planning for the customer. You will identify any risks that will negatively impact delivery for the customer and expedite and put in place recovery plans to mitigate risks and bring the supply chain back on track.
You will with work Buyers within the category, Repair Planning team and the logistics' supplier CEVA.

What you'll do:



Working within a defined organisational unit you, will be wholly responsible for your defined portfolio of products & components (parts / items) You will drive on time delivery through effective planning whilst maintaining ERP and supporting systems Working within an operational team you will identify, prioritise, mitigate and resolve delivery issues within the supply chain that may impact the customer You will maintain the executive ERP system with relevant current data and information, whilst ensuring that any inventory is optimised You are governed by the relevant company polices and processes

The skills you'll need:



Educated to degree level or relevant professional qualification (e.g. APICS, Technical Apprenticeship) or suitable equivalent based on proven experience Experience of planning and associated control processes Order book and business reviews Executed recovery plans Supply chain background Demonstrated ability to manage deliveries and make balanced business decisions under challenging ambiguous circumstances Able to take responsibility for their own development Working knowledge of and experience with MRP and/or ERP systems. MS Office or equivalent working skills with good use of Excel Comparable sector - Engineering manufacturing background ideally aerospace
