Are you a skilled professional with a strong understanding of materials and a knack for accurate estimation? I am excited to be recruiting for a detail-oriented Material Sales Estimator to join a successful manufacturing business in Wolverhampton.
As a Material Sales Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring their customers receive precise and competitive material quotes and handle customer enquiries to ensure the best resolution is offered.
Responsibilities:
- Interpreting customer specifications
- Provide estimations to include bills of materials and potentially exploring options from an alternative supplier
- Follow up on quotes to customers
- Ensure orders are inputted on to the system accurately
- Purchase materials if necessary
- Collaborate with internal team members to ensure seamless coordination of orders and deliveries
- Previous experience within a similar role, Manufacturing/Engineering knowledge is highly advantageous
- Experience interpreting drawings is highly advantageous
- Attention to detail is required
- Experienced user of Microsoft Office, including Excel
- Ability to understand requirements from specifications is essential
