AWE is currently recruiting a Material Specialist to join our growing team.
Location: Reading/Basingstoke
Package - 31,000-36,000 dependant on skills and experience
Closing date for this role is 20th June 2025.

You will be required to:
  • Support Assembly Technology Centre at AWE(B) Site with all aspects of Warehousing and Inventory Control of components.
  • Be part of a main Warehousing and Inventory team for picking and packing and instigating/completing any cycle count activity
  • Update inventory platform (Jobsope) with all transactional changes.
  • Print labels and assist with applying to components.
  • Apply good working relationships with ATC departments in support of Production.
  • Shift patterns 06:00 - 14:45 / 14:15 - 23:00 shall apply to 1 of the roles - the 2nd role is normal daily working patterns.
To be successful in this role you should have the following skills/Experience:
  • A good standard of basic education
  • Excellent attention to detail is required
  • Good methodical approach to work
  • Ability to work and problem solve under pressure.
  • Proactive approach to safety and quality
  • Demonstrable evidence of working in a similar environment, where they have been responsible for similar capabilities.
  • Warehouse/stores operations.
  • Distribution networks.
  • UK health & safety legislation.
  • Inventory management experience
Candidates must be willing to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for the role and be willing and able to work in designated areas.
