Conduct routine and specialised testing of pellet samples using laboratory equipment and standardised methods
Analyse pellet bulk density, moisture content, durability, and other relevant physical properties
Document and interpret test results, identifying trends or deviations from specifications
Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments and various factory equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability
Perform daily safety checks and ensure the test room is cleaned and maintained to required standards
Support the production team on the factory floor when needed
Collaborate with production and quality assurance teams to resolve material inconsistencies
Prepare detailed technical reports and present findings to relevant stakeholders
Maintain thorough documentation of calibration register, archives, test results, and non-conformance register
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards
Support research and development initiatives by testing new pellet formulations or alternative materials
Comprehensive training will be provided to the successful applicant
Preferred Skills & Experience
Familiarity with ENplus testing standards is highly desirable
Understanding of pellet manufacturing processes
Ability to troubleshoot and optimise laboratory testing procedures
Prior experience in testing pellets would be advantageous
Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools
Basic maths skills required
Effective communication and teamwork skills are essential
