JOB PURPOSE

The purpose of the role will be to ensure the most effective and efficient use of company funds through robust and professional purchasing methods, ensuring optimum material availability.

JOB DIMENSIONS & SCOPE

  • Ordering all material requirements, ensuring best cost, optimum stock levels and customer satisfaction.
  • Review the film demand from the SAP / MRP process.
  • Review of materials pricing parameters (Order Confirmations)
  • Control all film stocks ensure stock levels are minimized and accurate stock records
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Expediting material and liaising with the planners to meet the weekly production plan requirements.
  • Upload of Aged Stocks file into Artemis System
  • Updating PDM information for new designs. (NADs)
  • Creation and Extension of Material Masters
  • Manage external packaging (CHEP) reconciliation process
  • This list is not exhaustive but represents the main responsibilities of the role.
MAJOR CHALLENGES & COMPLEXITIES
  • Build effective relationships with necessary stakeholders, including internal department such as customer service, planning, technical, production, stores, finance and group personnel
  • Liaise with external bodies to build robust relationships with suppliers and other sites within group.
