The right candidate will be responsible for all incoming materials, management of stock levels, storing of materials and preparation and loading of vehicles for dispatch.
Job Overview:
The Materials Operative supports the Materials Supervisor in receiving, storing, handling, preparing and dispatching materials to ensure smooth workshop operations.
Duties will involve:
Assist with weekly stock takes and report discrepancies.
Support receiving and checking all incoming deliveries.
Store and rotate goods correctly.
Pick, label, and prepare materials for cutting and assembly.
Assist with loading outgoing goods. o Provide support for delivery driver cover when required.
Follow all procedures accurately and consistently.
Read and interpret basic extrusion profile drawings.
The candidate should:
Experience in warehouse/materials handling desirable.
Good communication across departments.
Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
Accurate, consistent and detail driven.
Energetic, proactive and deadline focused.
Clear and confident communicator.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 12.71-13.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
