Job Summary

I am seeking a childminder assistant to provide exceptional childcare services for the families I look after. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of children in a nurturing environment. This role requires a proactive individual who can engage children in educational activities while also managing daily routines.

Duties

Supervise and care for children in the absence of parents or guardians. Plan and implement age-appropriate educational and recreational activities. Assist with homework and provide teaching support as needed. Prepare meals and snacks, ensuring dietary needs are met. Maintain a clean and safe environment for the children. Transport children to and from school, extracurricular activities, or playdates as required. Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and any concerns. Foster a positive relationship with children to promote their emotional and social development.

Requirements

Proven experience in childcare, nannying, or a similar role is highly desirable. Proficiency in English A valid driving licence with a clean driving record is preferred but not essential for transportation duties. Strong teaching skills to assist with educational activities. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with children and parents alike. A caring, patient, and energetic disposition with a genuine love for working with children. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a calm demeanour. Pay: 12.75-20.73 per hour
