About the Role:
Yorkshire Baby Scan, a private antenatal ultrasound clinic, is seeking a compassionate and experienced
Maternity Support Worker (MSW)
,Healthcare Assistant (HCA)
, or similarhealthcare professional
to support our growing team.This hybrid role includes a mix of
clinical support
(phlebotomy, chaperoning) andreception/admin duties
. Ideal for someone with strong interpersonal skills and a passion for supporting women and families during pregnancy.Schedule:
Tuesdays & Thursdays (Evenings):
4pm - 8pm (ability to flex hours slightly)Saturdays:
9am - 1pmTotal: 12 hours/week
Key Responsibilities:
Perform
phlebotomy
(blood taking for antenatal care)Chaperone
during pregnancy ultrasound scans Reception cover and appointment booking Provide admin and customer service support Help maintain a calm, welcoming clinic environmentRequirements:
Essential:
Trained and experienced in
phlebotomy
andchaperoning
Experience as anMSW
,HCA
, or in a similar clinical support role Self-employed with right to work in the UK Willing to undergo an enhancedDBS check
and provide referencesDesirable:
Healthcare-related degree or current healthcare student Experience in maternity, antenatal, or clinical settings Admin, reception, or front-of-house experience Strong communication and customer service skills
