Salary: 18,000 - 19,000 per annum (dependent on experience and qualifications)

Job Purpose
We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and skilled Maths Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and high-quality lessons that promote mathematical understanding, problem-solving, and progress across KS3 and KS4.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, prepare, and deliver effective Maths lessons that cater to the needs of all learners
Teach across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (GCSE Mathematics)
Set high expectations for student behaviour, effort, and achievement
Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support for improvement
Contribute to the development and refinement of the Maths curriculum
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the national curriculum and GCSE specifications
Participate in assessment, reporting, and parents' evenings
Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices and raise attainment
Contribute to Maths-related extracurricular and enrichment activities
Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with school policy
Engage in CPD, school training, and performance management reviews
Person Specification
Essential:
A recognised teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent)
A degree in Mathematics or a related subject
Experience teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4
Strong subject knowledge and passion for teaching Mathematics
High expectations for students of all backgrounds and abilities
Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills
Commitment to continuous professional development
A willingness to support the school's Islamic values and ethos
Desirable:
Experience working in a faith-based or independent school setting
Familiarity with Islamic values and respect for the school's ethos
Proven success in raising attainment in Mathematics, particularly at GCSE level
