Summary

We are seeking a passionate Mathematics Teacher to join our team at Horizons Education. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering engaging math lessons to students, helping them develop their skills and confidence in mathematics. Responsibilities

Plan and deliver high-quality mathematics lessons tailored to individual student needs. Foster an engaging and supportive classroom environment that encourages active participation. Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their learning journey. Utilize various teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles. Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall tutoring program. Maintain open communication with students and parents regarding academic performance.

Requirements

A degree in Mathematics or a related field is preferred. Proven experience in tutoring or teaching mathematics at various levels. Strong communication skills to effectively convey mathematical concepts. Ability to manage classroom behavior positively and constructively. Passion for education and commitment to student success.

Part of this position requires you to work closely with vulnerable young people, reporting to Designated Safeguarding Leaders pertinent information about the safety, welfare and wellbeing of students. Full training will be provided.
