Fyling Hall is looking to appoint for January 2026 an enthusiastic, motivated and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join a department who are committed to ensuring the best outcomes for all pupils. The successful candidate should be an inspiring practitioner with excellent knowledge and a passion for teaching mathematics. They will be dedicated and committed in their approach and very well able to develop and contribute to excellence, working collaboratively within a small department. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Years 7-13 including A Level. Applications are warmly welcome from candidates early in their career or experienced practitioners looking to take on more responsibility as there is a possibility to apply for the Head of Mathematics role.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a very supportive and friendly department in a small school with a family atmosphere. We would be looking to interview in the first half of the week commencing 27th October but this could be arranged earlier to suit the applicant. Located in the coastal village of Robin Hood's Bay, North Yorkshire, Fyling Hall School is an independent day and boarding school first established in 1923. Co-educational, the school offers places to students aged 4-18 and has a student body of less than 200, making it smaller than the average school of its type. Fyling Hall School accepts both day pupils and boarders, with a roughly even split between the two. The school site occupies 45 acres of land, around an old Georgian manor house, and can boast of an extensive range of facilities such as dedicated sports fields and a number of modern teaching resources.
